Maxim Usoltsev's yoga school
Our training begins with body therapy - restoring natural and free breathing, mastering correct postures, straightened posture, consistent adaptation to stress, healthy spine and joint mobility, symmetry, a sense of bodily comfort, and calming skills. The programme pays great attention to the development of body awareness, body reconstruction and self-regulation skills. This is the foundation that will allow you to develop health and flexibility of the body.
In the process, you will be able to overcome anxiety, pain and even trauma. You will learn bodywork techniques based on neuroscience and pain research. You will develop an understanding of the anatomy, physiology and psychology of defence mechanisms that arise when threatened. The programme includes the development of skills to work with your own hyper-arousal and freezing, skills that will help you cope with accumulated and traumatic stress.
Continuing education in mind training is the development of relaxation, stability and clarity, instead of stiffness, hyperactivity and attention deficit. It is also the development of immeasurable qualities, such as compassion and our ability to focus on a goal, to observe ourselves. These skills will help you to get rid of stress and anxiety for good. Mindfulness training will allow you to experience a state of calm and help you develop the capacity for high clarity. Then, with a full understanding of what it is for, we move on to the practice of meditation. The training is focused on cutting off everything unnecessary in life, and instead filling it with maximum meaning, without fear or regret.
The spiritual aspect of this training involves developing an understanding of your nature. You will be able to connect with your inner well-being, which does not depend on external circumstances. You will learn to use all the difficulties of life, adverse circumstances, and even tense relationships with people as a training ground for inner resilience on your path. Through this practice, we are able to transform all our painful experiences and learn a quality of presence that will bring safety, acceptance and support to others.
